I am 90 years old and have a beautiful cat that I adore – her name is Bella. For Christmas 2011 I was flying to Sydney to spend 10 days with my family for the festive season. Naturally I could not take Bella with me, and as a pensioner the cost of a cattery was well out of my budget. Fortunately my hairdresser told me about Lisa and AACARES. For a fraction of the price of the cattery, Lisa came to my home and fed Bella daily, changing her water and emptying the kitty litter, refreshing her biscuits, and giving her a tickle under the chin! Lisa also took out the bins and emptied my letter box so that the house did not appear unoccupied.

I was so confident with AACARES that I extended my visit in Sydney knowing that my Bella was well looked after.

For approximately one year now I have employed Lisa from Aussie Aged Care Services. I employed Lisa as my cleaner, and in doing so I have found that Lisa is not only a very capable cleaner, but a woman of many variable services. When I took ill, Lisa would do my shopping for me, she’s cleaned my balcony windows, and for a mere twenty dollars, Lisa and her associate cleaned my bar fridge and all the filth and dirt under the bar fridge, and also cleaned under my washing machine. Not only that, Lisa has put my shower door back on its hinges, and miraculously fixed a broken flyscreen on my balcony doors. Lisa also fixed my toilet that was constantly running. Just ask Lisa for a favour and Lisa will happily do it for you. Never in my entire life have I met such a capable woman as Lisa. Talented in such a variety of problems. I am very happy having Lisa as my friend.

I have known Lisa from Aussie Aged Care Services for approximately 8 months. Lisa takes me shopping and does the cleaning to my unit. Lisa is a friendly outgoing person who enjoys helping people and is honest. Lisa is thorough with her cleaning and specialises in window cleaning. I can highly recommend her for services she provides.

A Specialist referred me to AACARES. I had a car accident and all the paperwork was overwhelming, but AACARES completed forms, faxed documents off, organised safety inspections, CTP insurance and drove me to the various locations to get me back on the road. I suffer from Bipolar and have limited strength with my arms. I have 2 dogs whom I love dearly but cannot walk them – but AACARES walks them for me. One of my dogs swallowed a needle and AACARES immediately took us to the vet and visited daily to make sure my pet received his medication. I used to have to do a shop for the fortnight, but now AACARES takes me when I want to go so I have fresh milk, fruit and vegetables, and my lotto! No job is too troublesome for AACARES – they open my boxes of diet coke so they are manageable to put in the fridge, take out my rubbish to the bin, change batteries in things I can’t open, sharpen my knives, clean out my kitchen cupboards, insect bomb the house, polish my mirrors, and cut up fruit and veges for me. I thank my Specialist for referring me to AACARES because AACARES has made my life more liveable.

I first met Lisa when she was walking two dogs along the broadwater. I asked if she could walk my dog when I went away. The Gods were with me that day because she now walks my dog every time I have to go away. Not only does my dog just adore her but my Mother also adores her. She is the most generous, caring, friendly person I have met. Nothing is a problem for her, she sat and had coffee with my Mum and made sure she was OK when she brought Daisy (the dog) back from her walks. She did shopping for her and would ring to see if she needed anything.

I have absdolutely no hesitation in recommending Lisa for any job, big or small involving the caring of the elderly, sick or just walking your precious pets.
